The synthetic turf is unrolled and we power broom the synthetic grass fibers up to create a more natural multi-directional appearance and prepare the fake grass fibers for the infill (if necessary) to be worked down to the bottom of the turf fibers. The synthetic grass is then placed where it will stay and seams are made where necessary. We then shape around trees, rocks and borders before stretching and securing the artificial turf to it’s final resting place. San Diego Home Turf Synthetic Grass Lawns recommends that you use a leaf blower or vacuum to remove organic materials such as leafs from your artificial turf. You may need a rake for bigger objects such as tree branches. We recommend a stiff bristle push broom for fluffing up artificial turf fibers in the high traffic areas as needed. Synthetic grass can get dirty during long periods without rain or after a wildfire which causes ash to rain down on us all over San Diego, so we suggest thoroughly spraying your artificial turf down; though you might feel a little silly watering your synthetic grass.
