HomeTurf has specialized in artificial turf installation throughout the San Diego area since 2006. We’ve completed hundreds of installations, including artificial grass and putting greens, for satisfied homeowners and businesses across the region. While many companies have come and gone, HomeTurf Synthetic Grass Lawns remains committed to delivering superior products at fair prices.

We proudly provide workers’ compensation for all our employees and do not hire day laborers. After 7 successful years in the artificial turf industry, Steve founded HomeTurf, LLC—a leading artificial lawn supply distributor based in San Diego, CA. Throughout his career, Steve played a key role in building a nationwide distribution network by partnering with landscape product distributors and establishing relationships with major retailers.

He also managed turf services for Home Depot across multiple counties in Southern California. Prior to founding HomeTurf, Steve spent over 22 years at Hydro-Scape Products, Inc, where he held various sales leadership roles and ultimately served as Director of Sales. He brings extensive industry expertise to HomeTurf.

Eric Howard is a seasoned turf industry veteran with an impressive track record. After honing his skills at FieldTurf, Eric became the General Manager at HomeTurf, where he brings extensive expertise to the team.

His career highlights include managing a high-volume call center, overseeing warehouse operations, and leading field operations for two major turf companies in Southern California. Eric’s dedication and vast experience in the turf industry make him an invaluable asset to HomeTurf, where he continues to lead with authority and innovation.

As a customer relations specialist, she focuses on building strong partnerships with contractors, installers, and fellow turf industry professionals. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gretchen’s bilingual skills ensure seamless communication and exceptional service in a diverse and ever-evolving market.
